Professor John Gunn is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown Law Center Georgetown University, United States. He was a tax partner with Ernst & Young for 32 years. Prior to 2007, at Ernst & Young, he focused on tax planning for business combinations. In 2007 he moved to Ernst & Young’s National Tax Group in New York. He worked in the Tax Advisory and Risk Assessment group, working primarily in tax accounting for financial statements and in restatements and remediations relating to tax accounting. He served on the AICPA’s International Tax Committee. He is a member of the Texas Bar and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
