Professor Gabriel Puron Cid of the Public Administration Department of the Center for Economic Research and Teaching, A.C. (CIDE) in Mexico. Member of the research system, Level II, of the National Institute of Science and Technology (Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología – CONACYT). His research agenda includes auditing and control entities, financial transparency, budget management, performance evaluation, electronic government, technological innovations, open government, smart cities. He has several publications on these topics and years of experience working in government, teaching, consulting, and training in Mexico, the United States, and several Latin American countries.
